Indid Company continues to actively support children's educational projects in the field of "cybersecurity". From October 30 to November 3, another shift of the training camp took place - "Cyber. NET 2.0 - data protection and cybersecurity", organized by Indid Company together with TOP Computer Academy .
The main goal of the fall camp is to provide schoolchildren with the opportunity to not only understand, but also apply cybersecurity skills in the digital space.
Much of the training focused on solving real-life virtual phone number service cybersecurity cases, including a vulnerability scanning competition.
Each student was assigned a website, which they analyzed from a security perspective throughout the shift. Looking ahead, we will say that based on this work, students presented personal projects on the final day of the shift!
Students studied DDOS attacks and protection methods, analyzed website traffic, analyzed in detail the types of fraudulent websites and, of course, transformed into programmers. Many created full-fledged applications in Python.
After jointly preparing a small training application, the guys wrote their own programs in small groups.
The final stage of the shift included the defense of projects created by students. They chose the topics of their presentations independently, some were divided into groups. The presentations of their projects were not only a summary of the training and a test of the knowledge gained, but also an opportunity to demonstrate creative potential in the field of website security analysis and the formation of vulnerability reports.
The training was quite fast and intensive, the children understood technically complex material well and were able to independently complete most of the tasks. They worked hard and were active throughout the entire shift. It is nice to see students whose faces show genuine interest in learning.
Karina Martynenko, Head of the Academic Department of the Computer Academy.
We are proud to contribute to the education of the younger generation in the basics of cybersecurity. The autumn shift of the camp showed that children are not only interested in this topic, but also successfully apply the knowledge they have gained in practice.
Anna Glazyrina, Head of HR Projects at Indid.
